N.C. Children’s Hospital is part of a national, collaborative effort to establish a registry for inflammatory bowel diseases.
The collaborative is part of a $12 million grant from the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
N.C. Children’s Hospital is one of 27 sites in the country that will work to establish the registry, which doctors hope will allow them to judge which treatments are having the largest positive impact on patients.
