A residence located at 321 McCauley St. caught fire early Friday morning, according to a press release from the Chapel Hill Fire Department.
The fire department responded to the fire at approximately 2:26 a.m. and found a two-story residence with flames visible from the back.
Two residents of the building were displaced, but no injuries were reported in the press release. The fire destroyed two cars in the garage of the building and affected three other vehicles.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
