• Someone had an open container at 120 W. Franklin St. at 12:21 p.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person had a water bottle full of beer, reports state.

• Someone reported a loud noise on the 100 block of Richland Court at 9:12 p.m. Monday, according to Carrboro police reports.

The person heard a loud screeching noise, which sounded like car brakes, followed by a loud pounding noise, which sounded like a gunshot, reports state.

• Someone trespassed at the Dollar General at 104 N.C. Highway 54 at 10:42 p.m. Monday, according to Carrboro police reports.

The person was being disruptive and refused to leave, reports state.

• Someone reported damaged property at Wilson Hall at 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to UNC Department of Public Safety reports.
