Heard it through the grapevine: a look back at the funniest six seconds on the internet

As an incredibly stereotypical millennial, I am taking the loss of Vine pretty hard. Even though there's no real set date for the app's death, the knowledge that Vine is going away is just a constant stressor. So here are some of my/the DTH's favorite Vines — look at them while we all still can. 

1. No matter what was going on in your personal life, Vine was always a party.

2. The app was there for you when you were having roommate troubles … 

3. Issues with your friends …

4. Or just regular old drama.

5. Vine understood that you had a lot of feelings,

6. And it had a video to capture pretty much every single one of them.

7. When life was too turnt,

8. You could rely on Vine to provide some relief.

9. (Or at least to be just as extra as you are.)

10. Sometimes the content was confusing …

12. Shocking …

13. Or just plain weird, 

14. But Vine was always real.

15. Maybe it was the time restraint,

16. Or maybe it was the accessibility. 

17. (It's legitimately a little concerning how many kids used this app.)

18. But Vine always felt relatable.

19. Even in the moments where it was clearly scripted.

20. So thanks for the memories, Vine. It's been a great ride.
