Art and cultural venues play prominent roles not only on campus, but also throughout the Triangle. While some students enjoy getting their creative fix by attending on-campus performances, some undertake art-related minors and others participate in various clubs. Staff writer Grace Carney asked UNC students how they’re involved with the arts.

I play the ukulele and write creatively, and I attend 1-2 open mics per week to play original songs, read poetry or do stand-up comedy.”
