Police Log for June 13

  • Someone reported loud music and a party on the 400 block of McDade Street at 3:32 a.m. on Saturday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

The suspects were having a loud party, reports state. 

  • Someone broke and entered into and committed larceny from a vehicle on the 500 block of Whitaker Street at 10:55 p.m. on Saturday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. 

Reports state the suspect entered the unlocked car and took items not belonging to him. These items included a gas mask valued at $550, as well as a gas mask filter and a gas mask bag valued at $25 each.

  • Someone reported suspicious conditions on the 100 block of Shepherd Lane at 12:25 a.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.

Reports state that the victim found that their attic access panel had become ajar.
