Food review: Khushi has salads & sauces galore

This week, Khushi opened up on Franklin (RIP Hummus Cafe). It’s basically a salad place with an Indian twist.

You can build order a signature salad (caesar, Chicken Tikka, etc.) or opt for a build-your-own (Chipotle style). They’ve also got rice bowls, Naan and tortillas.

If you’re a toppings person (which I am), hit up Khushi. They’ve got all your traditional toppings (again, think Chipotle) in addition to those that you only wish typical build-your-own restaurants served — I’m looking at you, chick peas.

Then, there are the sauces. The menu indicates if they are super spicy, which is wonderful, and employees will let you sample as many as you want, which is even more wonderful.

In summation: Khushi is perfect for salad lovers or Indian food lovers or students who love large portion sizes. So, Khushi is perfect for everyone. Everyone wins.
