What to wear to the National Championship game

We Tar Heel's have had quite the amount of practice attending basketball games this season, our team is heading to the National Championship, after all.

With 10 consecutive wins behind us, everyone's excitement gets stronger but their wardrobe options seem to get thinner.

From jerseys to dresses, students sport any and every UNC gear they own at these exhilarating events. However, the attire required for the National Championship can only be the biggest and best UNC pieces you own, in order to show how much a Tar Heel win truly means to you.

If you're the type of fan that is willing to paint and temporary tattoo your body in order to show your basketball team some love, go for it.

Face stickers, body paint, wigs and tutu's are all socially acceptable come Monday night and the crazier the Tar Heel attire, the better.

For the milder fan that may not feel totally comfortable with the wacky wardrobe, simplicity, as always, will get the job done and, if done right, you won't look like you're completely clueless about what's happening in Chapel Hill (that being us winning the National Championship.)

We all have a plethora of UNC t-shirts, so be sure to break out your favorite one (yes, there is such thing as having a favorite t-shirt in college) and pair it with jeans and cute sandals and you look like a grade-A UNC fan without going crazy.

Even if you want to keep it extra simple and wear athletic leggings and your favorite T-shirt, cute UNC accessories can be pulled out for this monumental occasion and will add the finishing touch to your look without going overboard.

Lily and Laura Bracelets come in every color combination known to man, so pull out the best of the best Carolina blue ones and stack them for a cute addition to a comfy outfit.

Nothing shows love for your Tar Heel's like Rameses earrings and I have to say that Carolina themed jewelry is more than okay to wear.

So whatever type of Tar Heel you may be, be sure to represent UNC well and wear the best of the best Carolina attire to cheer on our favorite boys.
