Three future UNC men’s basketball players were named to the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Games on Tuesday night, along with one of the Tar Heels’ top recruiting targets. Men’s basketball signees Joel Berry (Orlando, Fla.), Justin Jackson (Kimball, Texas) and Theo Pinson (Greensboro) were selected to the game, which honors 24 of the nation’s top high school seniors.

One of the class of 2014’s premier outside shooters and a North Carolina target, James Blackmon, Jr. (Marion; Marion, Ind.) took to Twitter on Thursday evening to give an update on his recruitment. Unsurprisingly, UNC was left off the 6-foot-4 sharpshooter’s list of the final five schools he is considering. Elsewhere on the 2014 recruiting front, 5-star prospect Rashad Vaughn scheduled an official visit to UNLV from November 25-26th. Vaughn still has not rescheduled his official visit to UNC that was postponed, originally scheduled to be last weekend.
