Review: Pretend to be responsible with Plant Nanny

Everything I touch dies.

Every plant, that is. I tried growing a cute little terrarium in my dorm, but everything save the stalwart cactus has withered away into dust.

And just like the plants that wither away, my skin is definitely crying out to be hydrated. Like most college students, I definitely don't drink enough water.

It's way too easy to forget to drink or to bring a water bottle to class!

Source: iTunes

I found a solution to both problems in Plant Nanny. Available for free at iTunes and the Google Play Store, this cute little app sends you reminders to "water" your plant — aka every time you drink water, you log it by watering your plant.

You can pick what type of plant avatar you want, change the water amounts to fit whatever you drink and you can even customize the pot!

The Bottom Line: It's cute, it's free and it'll keep you hydrated. Plus you get to act like you're a responsible adult and are totally not avoiding all of the realities of life.
