Q&A with UNC graduate, author Renée Ahdieh

Renée Ahdieh is a UNC graduate and the author of "The Wrath and the Dawn," a New York Times Bestseller. Her sequel, "The Rose & The Dagger" comes out May 3. Staff writer Emily Perry spoke with Ahdieh via email about her first book, her success and her time at Chapel Hill.

Playlist: UNC is going to the 'ship

Now, he's back with "Fool's Gold," his latest single he'll perform Friday at Cat's Cradle. Assistant Arts & Entertainment Editor Ryan Schocket asked Carter about his music, Hilary Duff, Justin Bieber, Donald Trump, whether he still wants candy and whether he's a UNC or Duke fan.

Coming up on Netflix

The Problem: You blew through Season 4 of "House of Cards" in days, already finished "Fuller House," and now you have nothing to look forward to.

We need to talk about Megan Fox's thumbs

Megan Fox is finally starring in things I actually want to watch, and I'm happy about it. It's just been too long since "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" and my personal favorite, "Jennifer's Body."
