UNC earns commitment from 4-star point guard Rechon Black

The North Carolina men's basketball team picked up its first Class of 2018 commit on Friday when four-star point guard Rechon "Leaky" Black announced his commitment to UNC.

Black, who is from Concord, N.C., is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 player in North Carolina and the No. 43 player overall. He took to Twitter to announce his decision.

The 6-foot-5, 175-pound point guard earned a scholarship offer from the Tar Heels on Dec. 11. He also had offers from Clemson, Tennessee, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.

Tony Bradley, Brandon Robinson and Seventh Woods currently make up UNC's 2016 recruiting class, while Jalek Felton is the Tar Heels' lone commit in the Class of 2017.

Below is a highlight tape showcasing Black's skills.
