3 skincare techniques that we think might work

Want baby smooth skin without the hassle and costs of expensive skincare products? Get rid of those unsightly pores. Kill those lame zits!

Try these do-it-yourself remedies. They’re easy, cheap and they really (might) work:

1. Pizza grease. So easy! Go ahead and capitalize on the extra grease that collects around your mouth when you eat that midnight pepperoni. The orange oil is so synthetic that it has actually has very strong anti-aging properties. It will totally keep wrinkles away!

2. Butter. This is simply a must. Moisturizing is so important during the winter months, but we ladies just forget sometimes! Go ahead and invest in a stick of butter, NOT margarine. We may be on a budget, but we don’t want to cheat ourselves of better skin. Hey, at least Land O’Lakes is less expensive than Olay!

The butter stick is essentially like ChapStick for your entire face. Just rub it on, starting at your forehead and moving down your face along the bridge of your nose. If you need help, there are tons of YouTube tutorials out there for butter-to-face application. Want to wash it off? Sorry! It’s literally never coming off of your face. Best moisturizer ever!

3. Tears. It does not get easier than this. Next time you are face down in your notebook, crying over the latest academic defeat (or victory — if we’re being transparent, the wins can be more emotional than the losses), use those tears to your aesthetic advantage. Don’t wipe them from your face, go ahead and rub them in. It’s the world’s best-known natural exfoliator. Better than getting a facial. This method works best when mascara remnants and eraser shaving are in the mix. Give it a try!

And that is it! These three simple tips will give you glowing, healthy skin. College is so easy!
