Town Talk

Humans of Chapel Hill for Sept. 23, 2014

Daily Tar Heel Staff Writer Wei Zhou sat down with Kurt Schuepbach for Town Talk’s weekly Humans of Chapel Hill feature.

If you had the chance to give advice to a large group of people, what would it be?

Listen to people that have a little wisdom; take the advice that you may not have to listen to, but listen to the advice that they give you. And separate, see what you can make out of it, and you never know, you know. And it might really help you in the long run. You might not think about it tomorrow, you might not think about it that day. But maybe five years down the road. Just so, "Oh yeah, I remember that guy, he was telling me something, and that's what he was talking about."

Have you ever thought about leaving Chapel Hill?

One place is pretty much the same as other places. I mean, you might meet new people and they might be friendly, but it's the same thing, you know. It's the same criteria, curriculum, whatever you want to call it.
