Where do you live?

I live in Chapel Hill. I just got back in town from New York. I was performing at the Lincoln Center where I composed a show called Autumn's Harvest. Now, I'm preparing a one-man show with Joseph Megel, who's in the communications studies department. The show will run from Jan. 8 to 25. It's called Freight: The Five Incarnations of Able Green.

How long have you been playing the drums?

My entire life since I was two. But, I've been doing this specific style for two years now.

What has been the proudest moment of your life so far?

My son. I have a 3-year-old son and him being able to recognize what I do as an artist. His name is Bryce.
