Art Class at Ephesus Elementary School; Apr. 24, 2013

Matthew Snyder, 7, and Judy Cho, 7, look for scrap construction paper to add characters to their environment projects in Nara Strickland’s art class at Ephesus Elementary School. The class used construction paper to make environment scenes. “I tried to find the right blue for the blue jay, but all I could find was Duke blue,” said Matthew.

My name is Chris Conway, and I am one of the assistant photo editors here at the Daily Tar Heel. Part of working on the photo desk is creating photo illustrations – in other words, making set-up photographs to visually convey the point of a story.

Covering Two Packs: January 24, 2013

So my name’s Chloe and I am an assistant photo editor at the DTH. Today we were short on photographers so I covered two photo assignments which ended up being front-pack and 3-pack in the paper on Friday January 25th.
