UNC golf teams ready to open ACC Championships

GREENSBORO — The men's and women's golf teams both open up play in North Carolina today in the ACC Tournaments.

The men playing in New London will start after their 12 ACC championship and their first since 2006. The Tar Heels are part of the third wave of the tournament and will tee off today at 10:10 a.m.

The women's squad heads to Greensboro for its tournament and they tee off with the second group at 9:20 a.m. today. The women's squad looks to win its second tournament title.

The men's ACC Championship will be shown on ACC Select on Saturday and Sunday including coverage from the 18th green from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Hole-by-hole scoring also is available. Both can be found at tarheelblue.com.
