Thomas takes sixth at ACCs, women’s golf ties for fifth

The North Carolina women’s golf team finished in a tie for fifth place in the ACC Championships this weekend, led by senior Kate Thomas’ sixth-place individual finish.

The Tar Heels’ stroke total for the tournament was 906, and Thomas was the only UNC player to place in the top ten.

Freshman Courtney Gunter was the closest behind Thomas, who shot a 218 total, with a tie for 16th place at 227.
