Garbage collection schedules to change for Labor Day

Hillsborough offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 6 for Labor Day, which will move residential garbage collection to Tuesday, Sept. 7.

For pick-up, residents should place rollout carts at the curb by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning or after 7 p.m. Monday night.

The garbage collection schedule is available on the town of Hillsborough website under the Public Works Department’s page.

The Orange County Landfill will also be closed Monday.
