Chapel Hill Police seek information involving early morning shooting

The Chapel Hill Police Department is looking for information about a shooting that occurred at 2:27 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Kangaroo Express at University Mall.

Two people suffered non-life threatening injuries and were treated at UNC Hospital, according to a press release from the department.

The suspect who fired the shots was described as a young black male, wearing a white T-shirt and a black hat.

Information that leads to an arrest could earn up to a $2,000 cash reward.
