Maggie’s outfit was the perfect ensemble for today’s perfect weather. When it is January and it is in the 60s but there is still a chill in the wind, it is difficult to figure out what to wear. Maggie’s patterned sweater from Goodwill paired with J. Crew cords and oxfords and a thrifted belt are just warm enough for the weather without being hot with the unseasonable temperatures. I love the mix of colors and textures in the striped chunky sweater and wine colored cords. Maggie’s outfit could honestly transcend any season if you ask me. Colored pants are very in right now, so her cords are on point as are her brown oxfords.

Although she does follow trends, Maggie says to “wear what you like” and not to just dress like everyone else. Wearing what she likes consists of inspiration from the eighties, the fifties and fifties artist, Robert Rauschenberg. The chunky sweater has the eighties written all over it while the polish of her cords and shoes is reminiscent of the fifties.
