I love how Evangeline’s outfit mixes so many textures but still looks put together. She is wearing a colorful Estate Sale scarf, Urban outfitters vest, a cardigan, boots from a PTA thrift store and shorts that she says she has had since high school. Evangeline said she does not keep up with trends or read magazines but gets inspiration from the sale rack.

As you can see from Evangeline’s outfit, her tip was to use texture in your outfits. Her outfit shows how you can mix many difference pieces of different textures and colors if you stay within the same color palette. She mixes tweed shorts with a knitted sweater and a light scarf. She also has different shades of brown and navy mixed with black and grey with a pop of color from the scarf. Many people might think that mixing this many textures colors would be difficult but Evangeline proves it really is not.
