TEDxUNC was held in the FedEx Global Education Center on Saturday, January 21. The conference was an independently organized event that featured several TEDTalks and cultural performances. Speakers included Kate Otto, Greg Van Kirk, Chancellor Holden Thorp, Victoria Hale, Alan Murray, Poetic Portraits of a Revolution, Joseph DeSimone, Dan Ariely, John McGowan and Shamila Kohestani.
A cancer survivor cuts the ribbon to begin Relay. The event, which took place April 8-9, was held at Fetzer Field and Belk Track. 204 teams and 2,193 people participated.
