North Carolina men's tennis comes up short of Final Four with 4-0 loss to Georgia

The No. 3 North Carolina men’s tennis team was defeated by No. 7 Georgia, 4-0, in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals at the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla., on Sunday, The Bulldogs (24-4) ended the Tar Heels (28-5) run at what would have been the first Final Four appearance in program history.

UNC softball's season comes to an end with pair of NCAA Regional losses

The North Carolina softball team competed in the Harrisonburg Regional of the NCAA Tournament this weekend in Harrisonburg, Va. The Tar Heels won a dramatic first game over Longwood, but lost their next two games and failed to advance in the tournament.

UNC women's tennis upset by Virginia, 4-2, in third round of NCAA Tournament

The No. 3 North Carolina women’s tennis team fell in the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday to ACC-rival No. 14 Virginia at the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla., 4-2. The Tar Heels (31-3) had beaten the Cavaliers (19-10) in the two previous meetings between the schools this season, including in the ACC Tournament semifinals.

Tar Heels finish 26th at NCAA Championship

On Saturday, the No. 18 North Carolina men’s swimming and diving team wrapped up their season with a 26th place finish in the 2016 NCAA Division I Championships.
