2017 guard Andrew Platek commits to UNC

The North Carolina men's basketball team added a member to their 2017 recruiting class on Monday afternoon when Andrew Platek announced on Twitter that he was committing to the Tar Heels. 

Platek is a 6'4" guard from Northfield, Mass., and is rated as a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports.

UNC softball's season comes to an end with pair of NCAA Regional losses

The North Carolina softball team competed in the Harrisonburg Regional of the NCAA Tournament this weekend in Harrisonburg, Va. The Tar Heels won a dramatic first game over Longwood, but lost their next two games and failed to advance in the tournament.

Three diving Tar Heels will compete in Olympic trials next week

North Carolina has never had a diving Olympian, but that could all change next week when three Tar Heels compete in the Olympic Trials in Indianapolis with a chance at qualifying for the games in Rio de Janeiro on the line.
