Topics: Achordants

The Achordants are an all-male a cappella group at the University of North Carolina. Officially formed in 2001, the group has performed at UNC and around the country on tour. Though they perform in a variety of outfits, their trademark uniform is marked by baseball shirts with “Achordants” printed on the front.

Originally formed to form a venue for a greater diversity of music on campus, the group has a wide repertoire featuring music from Queen, Marvin Gaye, Soft Cell and Frank Sinatra, among others.
The group has a fall and spring performance and their performances often feature short comedy sketches between songs, or as a set-up to their next piece. They also perform at various campus events such as Fall Fest.
