Topics: Association of Student Governments

The UNC-system Association of Student Governments is a student leader organization that draws on the student governments from each of the 16 universities in the system. It includes the Council of Student Body Presidents, where each school is represented by its student leader or a proxy.

The ASG meets monthly at the various system schools and is designed to represent the students to the UNC-system Board of Governors, which in turn advises the state legislature on issues like tuition. The ASG president is the only student representative on the Board of Governors.
