Chapel Hill’s Town Council is responsible for guiding Chapel Hill and making policy decisions. The town has a council/manager form of government, which means council members are responsible for the town’s legislative responsibilities. The mayor, currently Mark Kleinschmidt, serves on the board. The council meets Monday’s at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Town Hall at 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Public hearings are held on the third Monday each month.
