Jacquie Gist has been a member of Carrboro’s Board of Aldermen since 1989, making her the longest-serving alderman on the board. Her current term ends in 2013. She is a career counselor at UNC’s Career Services department and the employer liaison for nonprofits and social work. She received both her B.A in Philosophy and her Masters in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill.
