Chapel Hill says goodbye to Town Council member Sally Greene
Chapel Hill Town Council member Sally Greene participated in her last council business meeting Monday night.

Sally Greene has served on the Chapel Hill Town Council since 2003. She chaired a task force on inclusionary zoning in 2006 in efforts to strengthen affordable housing requirements in the town. She also serves on various committees in the town, including one for open space preservation. Prior to her election, Greene served as vice-chair of the Chapel Hill Planning Board. The research attorney earned a Ph.D from UNC in 1996. Her third term on the council ends in 2015.
