Eleven million people died in the Holocaust, roughly 300,000 in Darfur have died since 2003, and the world is still watching. With such overwhelming figures, do you think we will ever see the light at the end of the tunnel?

The honor system at UNC has a rich history that dates back to 1795.

Today, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is the only school in the country, besides the military academies, with an entirely student-run honor system. Honor and integrity are two of the core traditions of this University.

 It was a privilege to have known Dan Pollitt, the professor of law at UNC, who died last week. He spent his entire life working for social justice and civil rights.
