SFAC should be more careful with student funds - and know where money will go
TO THE EDITOR:
I am disappointed at the decision to raise the APPLES fee by $4. I questioned the APPLES representatives about where the proposed money would be going. But all I got were vague generalities. The majority of the student fee audit committee didn't even care that they had no idea what, specifically, the money is being spent on.
The fact is, many members of SFAC are content to accept at face value the assurances of those who seek to raise our fees. On a campus that is becoming increasingly difficult to afford, this is something I cannot and will not accept.
