Thorp's tuition increases approved by BOT

9:50 a.m. THURSDAY, NOV. 20 -- Chancellor Holden Thorp's tuition increase proposals were approved today by the Board of Trustees without discussion.

If given final approval by the systemwide Board of Governors, in-state undergraduate tuition would increase $240, to $3,945.

Out-of-state undergraduate tuition would increase $1,150, to $21,753.

Graduate student tuition would go up $400, raising the in-state rate to $5,413 and the out-of-state rate to $19,811.
