Tyler Hansbrough's No. 50 to be retired against Duke
Whenever North Carolina and Duke square off on the basketball court, finding an affordable ticket to the game can be one toughest tasks in all of college basketball.
Finding one for this year's contest in Chapel Hill just got a little bit harder.
Former Tar Heel great Tyler Hansbrough will have his jersey retired when North Carolina faces off against the rival Blue Devils on Feb 10, Matt Bowers of the UNC athletic department confirmed.
Hansbrough, who played for UNC from 2005-2009, finished his career as the ACC's all-time leading scorer (2,872 points), a four-time first team All-America and the 2007-08 National Player of the Year.
Along with those accolades, he also helped UNC capture its fifth national championship last April, cementing his place among the legends in the storied history of North Carolina's men basketball team.
