North Carolina defense prepares for reigning Heisman

Even if Brandon Harris had played well in North Carolina's season-opening 35-30 loss to California, the following would still be true: he's a one-year rental, and UNC will have a new starting quarterback at this time next season.

Five years, still something to prove

  Practice would be over. The final whistle would blow. The North Gwinnett Bulldogs would meet, briefly talk and then disperse after a final huddle. While most players and coaches would head to the locker room, unloading their protective gear and helmets, Donnie Miles would stick around.
