Orange County Commissioners

The Board of Orange County Commissioners is responsible for guiding Orange County and making policy decisions. The seven-member board is primarily responsible for adopting the annual budget, creating the property tax rate each year, staffing advisory boards, and meeting the various needs of the county. Board meetings are typically held on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7 p.m. at various locations around the county.

Plans for fair in Orange County halted

Carnival games, rides and exhibits will not be coming to Orange County next year after the county’s board of commissioners voted Thursday against moving forward with creating a county fair.
