FREEPORT, Bahamas — The North Carolina women’s basketball team won its division of the Junkanoo Jam with an 82-78 win against Oregon State on Saturday.


The No. 2 Tar Heels also registered a win against Pacific on Friday, outscoring the Tigers 98-62.


Iman McFarland and tournament MVP Jessica Breland both were named to the all-tournament team. The wins take the Tar Heels to 8-0.

No. 18 Boston College 28, Maryland 21
Billy Flutie, the nephew of Doug Flutie, threw for a 9-yard touchdown on a fake field goal to lead the Eagles to a spot in the ACC title game.

Virginia Tech 17,
Virginia 14
Dustin Keys kicked a 28-yard field goal with 6:37 to play and Virginia Tech earned the opportunity to defend its ACC championship.

N.C. State 38, Miami 28
Russell Wilson threw for two touchdowns and ran for a score to help North Carolina State beat Miami and become eligible for a bowl game.
