A bee hotel will be all the buzz in Hillsborough on Saturday, as it is unveiled in efforts to combat the disappearance of bees from local habitats.

If the tap water this summer has tasted slightly different, it’s because it was not being fluoridated by the Orange Water And Sewage Authority (OWASA). However, as of this past Monday, OWASA will resume putting fluoride into the water.

By 2020 Target plans to raise their minimum wage to $15 for its 320,000 workers. Currently Target pays its workers $10 an hour, however they will be taking their first step with their new initiative in October by paying their employees an $11 minimum wage.
Downtown Chapel Hill will get a new hotel this fall — along with a newly refurbished Porthole Alley, now a pedestrian-only walkway. A grocery store is slated to begin construction in 2018 and streets all over town are being repaved.
