Police log for Oct. 20, 2014

Someone drove a moped while intoxicated and in possession of drug paraphernalia on the 400 block of Jones Ferry Road Friday at 12:26 a.m., according to Carrboro police reports.

• Someone vandalized a vehicle by spray painting a vulgar message on the vehicle's rear on the 200 block of N.C. 54 Friday between 1 a.m. and 10:55 a.m., according to Carrboro police reports.

• Someone reported a phone scam on the 100 block of South Elliott Road Wednesday at 12:53 p.m., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

A person was pretending to be a representative of the electricity company Duke Energy over the phone, the report states.

• Someone stole an 18-pack of Bud Light from a pharmacy on the 100 block of East Franklin Street Wednesday between 5:38 p.m. and 7:12 p.m., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person put the beer in a backpack, the report states.

• Someone trespassed at the Waffle House on the 100 block of East Franklin Street Thursday at 11:52 p.m., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person was intoxicated, the report states.

• Someone stole from UNC's Kenan Stadium Thursday at 6 p.m., according to DPS reports.

• Someone reported a suspicious vehicle parked in front of their apartment building on the 300 block of Providence Glen Drive Thursday at 12:46 a.m., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
