Some Orange County families await flood relief

More than 60 Orange County families are still waiting for relief after this summer’s flooding damaged their homes. Following the June 30 floods, Gov. Pat McCrory requested a state disaster declaration from the U.S. Small Business Administration, which gave victims federal funds to assist in recovery.

All Up In Your Business, March 25

The 501 Diner — located at 1500 N. Fordham Blvd. — closed its doors at the end of February. Diner owner Hassan Agourram said the restaurant has struggled during the economic downturn.
