Candidates for Student Union director visit UNC

Chancellor-elect Carol Folt isn’t the only new leader UNC will welcome this semester. Four finalists for director of the Student Union will be on campus at different points in the next few weeks, said Ray Angle, director of University Career Services and chairman of the search committee to fill the position.

The six members of Dark Water Rising, four of whom are UNC graduates, picked up their respective instruments about three years ago, learned how to play and formed a band. The group’s name references the Lumbee tribe, or “people of the dark water.”
