The Tar Heels lost to top-ranked Old Dominion 2-1 in overtime Saturday at Foreman Field. Both of the Tar Heels' losses this season have come to ODU, and both have been by one goal.
Volleyball Drops 2nd Match to Wake
WINSTON-SALEM - The North Carolina volleyball team fell to Wake Forest 3-2 (11-15, 15-7, 8-15, 7-15) Saturday at Reynolds Gym. Wake
(16-7, 7-5 in the ACC) is the only ACC team to defeat the Tar Heels (21-5, 11-2).
On Friday, UNC defeated Duke 3-2 (15-7, 15-7, 13-15, 13-15, 17-15) at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Tar Heels added another 1.5 points to the Carlyle Cup standings, and UNC leads Duke 12-0.
Forte Selected Preseason All-ACC
GREENSBORO - Members of the media voted North Carolina's Joseph Forte to the preseason All-ACC team Sunday at the 39th Annual ACC Operation Basketball.
Forte was joined by Maryland's Terence Morris and Juan Dixon and Duke's Shane Battier and Jason Williams.
