Sunday, Sept. 23

A domestic dispute between two UNC employees took place about 6 p.m. at the Chase Dining Hall loading deck. Reports state that the victim was picking up her last check when a male cafeteria employee at Chase assaulted her. The suspect was taken to the magistrates office but after 25 minutes the victim had not appeared. The suspect was released pending a warrant request.

An intoxicated male was found unconscious at about 3:40 a.m. Reports state that the Raleigh resident was found on the ground in front of a parked vehicle on Paul Green Theatre Drive. The fire department and three paramedic units were able to revive the victim, who was later transported to the UNC Hospitals emergency room by the Orange County Rescue Squad.

Saturday, Sept. 22

Police were alerted of an incident of public intoxication on Bernard Street at about 3:25 p.m. Reports state that a Fraternity Court resident was found disoriented and stumbling in the street after reportedly consuming too much alcohol at the football game against Florida State University.

The student was found to have cuts and scrapes on both elbows as well as a swollen right eye. EMS later transported the student to Student Health Service, reports state.

Friday, Sept. 21

A bookbag and two bags of clothing were stolen from a UNC student outside Cobb Residence Hall at 7:15 p.m. Reports state that the items were placed in the trunk of a car on Country Club Road.

The student later found the two bags of clothing by the Center for Dramatic Art at 8 p.m. The missing contents include three textbooks and a calculator with a total estimated value of $218, reports state.

Sunday, Sept. 23

Chapel Hill police arrested Adam Richard Davis, 19, of Orlando, Fla., at 4:51 a.m. and charged him with two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury, three counts of misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and one count of misdemeanor resisting, delaying and obstructing arrest, reports state.

Davis was arrested at Pritchard Avenue after throwing bottles at two victims at 109 Fraternity Court, reports state. He was taken to Orange County Jail and released at 8 a.m. on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

Davis was scheduled to appear at the Orange County District Court in Hillsborough on Sept. 24, reports state.

Saturday, Sept. 22

Chapel Hill police arrested Satoru Yamazaki, 34, of 1127 Saluda Court at 2:20 a.m. and charged him with assault on a female after he struck a victim in the face with his hand, reports state.

Yamazaki had been consuming alcohol and was taken to Orange County Jail at 4:15 a.m., reports state.

He is scheduled to appear at Orange County District Court in Hillsborough on Oct. 29.

Carrboro police arrested Christopher Michael Johnson, 28, of 306 Estes Drive Ext. Apt. L-6 in Carrboro and charged him with one count of misdemeanor assault on a female and one count of misdemeanor communicating threats, reports state.

Johnson was arrested at 11:51 a.m. and was released on a written promise, reports state. Johnson is scheduled to appear at Orange County District Court in Hillsborough on Oct. 5.

Friday, Sept. 21

Chapel Hill police arrested Lisa Tiffany Hall, 22, of 4015 Cheek Road in Durham for driving while intoxicated on Fordham Boulevard in Chapel Hill, reports state. She was stopped by police for weaving in traffic at 3:18 a.m, reports state.

According to police reports, her blood alcohol content was 0.12.

Hall was released on a written promise and is scheduled to appear in Orange County District Court in Hillsborough on Oct. 23.

Richard Calvin Edwards, 32, of Chapel Hill, was arrested near the corner of Graham and Rosemary streets at 3:48 a.m. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Edwards was seen throwing down a crack pipe in a medicine bottle and admitted that he owned it when he was questioned, reports state.

Edwards was released on a written promise and is scheduled to appear before the Orange County District Court in Hillsborough on Oct. 22.
