UNC Women's Soccer Prevails 2-0
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- A pair of players who usually hang out on the defensive end of the field for North Carolina provided the goals Sunday afternoon as the Tar Heels defeated Alabama-Birmingham 2-0 before 2,362 at the West Campus Field.
Bairos Wins Flight Championship
Four UNC women's tennis players won on the final day of competition at the Furman Fall Classic Sunday, while Leigh Bairos brought home a flight championship.
Bairos swept Lynn-Yin Tan of South Carolina, to claim the flight three title. Kate Pinchbeck, Julie Rotondi and Kristin Koenig also won their final round consolation matches.
Rowing Slowed By ACC Foes
BAHAMA -- In its first outing of the fall rowing season, none of North Carolina's boats finished higher than fourth against Duke and Clemson at the Lake Michie Invitational.
