TO THE EDITOR:
On behalf of the Sport Club Council, I am pleased to thank Matt Calabria for attending the council meeting Wednesday, a commitment made three weeks ago. Calabria has kept to his word in keeping the sport clubs high on his agenda, gaining extra support and funding for our budget and facilities. As a highly competitive sporting body, we are very grateful that our efforts have been recognized by Calabria's commitment to us. In providing an update on our upcoming budget increase as well as the planned field and facility renovations, it is clear that sport club needs have been and continue to be addressed.
