NEWTON Mass. — Midfielder Alejandro Bedoya's hat trick was the difference in a 4-1 win for No. 16 Boston College against No. 7 North Carolina on Friday at the Eagles' Newton Campus Soccer Complex.
Junior forward Eddie Ababio's goal was the lone score of the night for the Tar Heels (5-1-1 1-1-0 ACC).

MINNEAPOLIS — North Carolina battled No. 8 Minnesota to the bitter end Saturday night in Minneapolis Minn. and went on to claim one of the top wins in school history as the Tar Heels won 3-2 (24-26 25-20 23-25 31-29 15-12) against the Golden Gophers.
