Quad should be neutral leave debates for the Pit

TO THE EDITOR:

I support the right of Justice for All to present their views on the abortion debate on campus but hosting this giant prominently on the quad suggests the endorsement of the entire University.

Instead of housing this in the Pit our central campus was transformed into an unavoidable propaganda zone.

Wilson Library and our fair campus deserve better than to be a mere backdrop to shock-value imagery. Let the quad remain a peaceful neutral space and keep the debates raging in the Pit and the classrooms.

In addition it should be noted that contrary to what is stated on the Justice for All placards the American Cancer Society has concluded that scientific evidence does not support the notion that induced abortion raises the risk of breast cancer.
