Eve had a passion for all things UNC" so what better way to honor her legacy than by participating in the Eve Carson Memorial 5k for Education?
The race will raise money for The Eve Marie Carson Memorial Junior-Year Merit Scholarship.
Creating this scholarship was one of Eve's ""big three"" platform points from her tenure as student body president.
Funds will also benefit First Book — a nonprofit organization that provides preschool children from low-income families with their first books — and Clyde Erwin Elementary School in Jacksonville" N.C.
It's not too late to sign up! You can still do so for $18 online or for $20 beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday.
