Place the waste transfer station in industrial zone

I disagree with the headlong dash to locate the Waste Transfer Station in rural Orange County for the following reasons:

This is an industrial-type facility; it should be sited in an industrial or commercial zoned area.

The costs to purchase this outrageously large property with no infrastructure; build the facility make road and truck improvements and haul water; and operate it with unpredictable fuel costs and landfill fees are far beyond what it would cost to pay private contractors. I want my tax money spent more wisely.

Waste to energy should be more seriously considered as a long-term solution.
