Once again UNC returns to the Sweet 16, aiming for its 20th NCAA title. The Tar Heels face fourth-seeded Maryland for the third time this season.

In their first meeting, UNC came away with a 1-0 victory at College Park in the final match of the regular season.
The two teams met again three days later in the ACC Tournament, where UNC won 3-0 in the first round en route to its ACC Championship.
The Tar Heels are coming off a 1-0 first-round win against High Point and a 4-0 rout of Georgia last weekend.
The winner of this match will play in the quarterfinals next week against either No. 2 South Carolina or No. 3 Wake Forest.
Freshman Lucy Bronze crossed the pond and has dominated this postseason, with two of her three career goals coming last weekend. Bronze scored UNC’s lone goal against High Point and had a goal and an assist versus Georgia.
