Man sought in $20 robbery

Police are looking for a man who reportedly stole four $5 bills from the Kangaroo Express at 1501 E. Franklin St., according to a Chapel Hill Police Department news release.

The clerk reported that the man, who was caught on surveillance, walked into the gas station store and asked for change for a dollar, the news release states.

When the clerk opened the cash register, the man reached into it and grabbed four $5 bills, the release states.

The man, who wore a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans, left on foot in the direction of the Sienna Hotel, the release states.
